OUR ROOTS
Established in 1984 by the Huebel family and Matthias Oppenlaender with the goal of growing quality vinifera grapes for quality wine production.
OUR MISSION
To grow top-quality grapes from top-quality vineyards through sustainable and innovative viticultural practices.
OUR APPROACH
With over 35 years in business and involvement in the grape and wine industry for the Niagara Region, our knowledge is vast. Our team has diverse farming backgrounds and education in both Canada and Germany. Currently, we manage our own vineyards alongside custom managing multiple vineyards in the Niagara Region.
We believe in practicing sustainable viticulture and are an authorized dealer for Farm for Profit, a sustainable agriculture program.
In 2005 we were one of the first companies in the world to own and operate GPS planting machines in cooperation with Wagner Pflanzen GmbH in Bahnhofstrasse, Germany. We are an authorized dealer of Wagner equipment for Noth America.
Alongside custom farming, planting, and harvesting we also provide CDFA certified clean vines in partnership with
Sunridge Nurseries.
In 2019, we partnered with Altrac and are an authorized dealer of their Frost Protection Equipment.
